Electronic tithing is now available through Venmo. We chose this option as it will not incur fees on any of the money given to the church. Nobody is obligated to use this, it’s just an option to use if you are gone from church or don’t like donating cash/checks. The money goes directly into the church’s bank account and is a secure transaction. All records will still be tracked by our treasurer for your yearly giving records.

To utilize this option you need to have a smartphone. You will download the Venmo app and setup your account if you don’t already have one. You can use a bank account or debit card but that is up to you on how you prefer to set up your account with Venmo. Once that is done you can send your tithe to @Freeman-Presbyterian, that is the church’s username. We will receive a notification and an email to the church email address and that is how it will be tracked for our records.
